In most us cities one could listen to top 40, country, easy listening, and classical on am. When this typewriter was made, am radio king. This typewriter was marketed toward college students. Plastic faux wood grain finish with am transistor radio built into the case.

Note: APO, FPO, AK and hi shipping is fine, but must be USPS priority mail. Issues are all cosmetic: small dent on right side of lower aluminum trim piece just under the space bar. Made in japan by silver-Seiko aka silver-reed. All keys have yellowed.

A bit of the faux wood has rubbed on left corner key cover. Ribbon has ink, but it will need a new one soon. Bell works.

Royal Fleetwood typewriter. Am radio works. Typewriter works fine: all keys work and none stick.

The case has several scratches and a rub mark on lower right.
