Power button: top right on the keyboard. This machine will never go obsolete because of exhausted non removable specific rechargeable batteries. Save money by using rechargeable AAA batteries I recommend envelop. No distraction.
It is in perfect working condition and looks almost new besides some very minor scuffs on the rubber coating plastic body. I have never dropped it. I had it shipped from japan. Keys on the keyboard feel better than dm 100 and feels relatively closer to regular computer.
Taft monochrome LCD display is crisp and easy to read even under bright sunlight. No internet, apps, distraction. No back light.
I love this machine but don't have much writing projects now and it has been sitting in my desk drawer so finally decided to let go. 20 hours battery life with 2 AAA batteries.
Hit the menu key on left bottom corner with right arrow select box in bar far screen. Fits in a pants pocket. Although DM20s LCD display does not have back light, the are crisper and easier to read than dm100.
Think of it as a fordable, modern-day alpha smart Dana. Pocket-sized portable word processor on the go no internet apps. Advantages over dm100folds into much smaller package than dm100. I have been using it very gently and always babied in a neoprene sleeve.
