This is a very nice braille machine with beautiful carrying case for protection and it appears to work perfectly as I am no expert but all of the functions tried performed they should. I purchased this Perkins brailler machine by david abraham howe memorial press w carrying case from an online offer which have 100s of authenticated items and listed them on site other similar sites sold with great success. Good luck with your buying on this very handsome machine. This brailler comes with a designed for Perkins which has suit case type carrying it is brown gold lettering and clasps, logo the name diversified company multi billion dollar alone goes over 375.

For just the case alone. This david howe Perkins brailler shows some signs of wear from age and use, but all the buttons perform when pushed, bell for margins rings there are no cracks or breaks in keys nor any chips machine itself. On the outside and red inside case has rollers front back to keep brailler in place preventing it from slipping out or side.

It appears someone put some sort of tape on the unit many years ago as pictured and I removed much could but did not want to use any harmful chemicals them damage finish.
